Welcome to Dualis, a logic puzzle game developed and published by EkUm Studio ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information when you use our AndroidiOS application.
By downloading or playing Dualis, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the application.
Dualis collects a limited set of information necessary to provide leaderboard functionality and serve advertisements. We do not collect your name, email address, or any sensitive personal information directly.

We use the information collected for the following purposes:
Leaderboard Services — Your Google Play Games ID, display name, device ID, and scores are stored in Google Cloud Firestore to power the in-game leaderboard. This allows you and other players to compare puzzle completion times.
Fraud & Duplicate Prevention — The Android ID is used solely to prevent the same device from submitting multiple leaderboard entries for the same daily puzzle.
Advertising — We display advertisements through Google AdMob and Unity Ads to support free access to Dualis. These services may collect and process data in accordance with their own privacy policies to serve relevant ads.
Leaderboard Services — Your Game Center Player ID, display name, IDFV, and scores are stored in Google Cloud Firestore to power the in-game leaderboard. This allows you and other players to compare puzzle completion times.
Fraud & Duplicate Prevention — The Identifier for Vendor (IDFV) is used solely to prevent the same device from submitting multiple leaderboard entries for the same daily puzzle. Unlike IDFA, IDFV does not require App Tracking Transparency permission.
Advertising — We display advertisements through Unity Ads to support free access to Dualis. On iOS 14.5 and later, we request your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before accessing your IDFA for personalised ads. If you decline, only non-personalised ads are shown using Apple's SKAdNetwork framework.
Game Improvement — Aggregate, non-identifiable gameplay data may be used to understand how players interact with the game and improve future updates.
Dualis integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them:
Dualis displays advertisements to support the game. Ads may be personalised based on your interests using your advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID / GAID), or they may be non-personalised if you have limited ad tracking on your device.
Opt out of personalised ads: You can reset or opt out of your Google Advertising ID at any time via Settings → Google → Ads on your Android device.
Unity Ads: You may opt out of personalised advertising by Unity through their opt-out page at unity.com/legal/privacy-policy .
Dualis displays advertisements to support the game. On iOS 14.5 and later, we present Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before accessing your Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).
If you allow tracking: Personalised ads may be served using your IDFA by Unity Ads.
If you deny tracking: Only non-personalised ads are shown. Attribution is handled via Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork framework — no IDFA is accessed.
Change your choice at any time: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iPhone or iPad to review or revoke app-level tracking permissions.
Unity Ads: You may also opt out through Unity's privacy settings at unity.com/legal/privacy-policy .
Leaderboard data ( Google Play Games ID, display name, Android ID Game Center Player ID, display name, IDFV , and scores) is retained in Firestore for as long as you continue to use the application, or until you request deletion.
Daily puzzle leaderboard entries are retained for 90 days from the date of submission, after which they are automatically deleted.
Advertising data retention is governed by Google AdMob and Unity Ads respectively and is Unity Ads and is subject to their individual data retention policies.
Dualis is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address below and we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
Leaderboard data stored in Google Cloud Firestore is protected by Google's security infrastructure, including encryption at rest and in transit. Access to the Firestore database is restricted by security rules that prevent unauthorised reads and writes.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your country or region, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access — You may request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Deletion — You may request that your leaderboard data (including
your display name,
Android IDIDFV,
and scores) be permanently deleted from our systems.
Correction — You may request correction of inaccurate data.
Objection — You may object to processing of your data for
advertising purposes as described in Section 5.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 11. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Dualis after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
